Our Community & Resource Center at St. John’s open Mon–Thu & Sat, 10 am–3 pm (closed for lunch 11:30–12:30) is a welcoming space where people facing food or housing instability can meet essential needs and build community. Our goal is to create a respectful environment where everyday necessities like cleanliness, connectivity, and comfort are available—no questions asked.

Closed for lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
About the Center
WHO WE SERVE
At Manna, our vision goes beyond nourishment. We serve neighbors who rely on simple but vital resources like showers, laundry, and a peaceful seat with charging access, to sustain their health, dignity, and self-respect
We support adults and families across the Northampton region experiencing food or housing insecurity. Our guests include older adults, people navigating unstable housing, those seeking support after job loss, and individuals escaping unsafe living conditions. Here are a few key metrics:
Showers: Over 400 served since opening
Laundry loads: Hundreds of guests served monthly
Wi‑Fi & charging access: Daily connection for dozens seeking opportunity
Drop-in visits: 1,000+ monthly in a comfortable, safe space
WHAT WE DO
Our Resource Center offers a suite of essential services to empower and restore independence.
Barrier-Free Food Market: Guests check in, shop, and weigh groceries—no income or residency requirements
Private Showers: Two ADA-accessible stalls with towel, shampoo, and cleaning supplies, available through same-day sign-up
Laundry Services: On-site washers/dryers—or connections to local programs for off-site laundry
Connectivity Hub: Computers, Wi‑Fi, power outlets, and phone access to apply for jobs, housing, and benefits
Case Navigation & Referrals: We support SNAP applications, prescription and ID assistance, housing support, and more
